Cesare Panzera (Panz) was born in Milan in 1940 into a family of artists. His father, a cartographer and plastic modeller, had been working for the "Provincia di Milano", covering an important position. Technical and artistic drawings were the base for the creation of meaningful works still now visible in the most prestigious antique trade shops of Milan. The art of drawing was passed onto his 5 sons, the oldest specialized in plastic models (his major work is the " Duomo of Milan" in Fantasy World - Capriate Italy), the younger is an art director, working with many important advertising agencies and companies, and Cesare where the art finds its natural expression in drawings, mainly with oil.
Cesare began his career at a young age for a print company, acquiring a lot experience with colours mixing and obtaining infinite chromatic scales and a total harmony in the passages from one colour to another. His strong and a bit of a rebel character, brought him to be independent: he founded a photolithography were he specialized in the creation of material "below the line", improving his creative and graphic capabilities. Only at a late age did he have the possibility to devote himself completely to his big passion: painting. He attended the Accademia di Brera in 1997 with determination and will power. He increased his knowledge studying the life and the styles of some important painters of the past with emense enthusiasm He got close to oneiric and archeological fantasy genres and to the impressionists world. His teachers recognised his style and talent and they granted him a degree with full marks in 2001. Many are the artists he admires: Caravaggio, Botticelli, Milet, Masaccio, Ayez … 300 are the works produced at today: portraits, landscapes and still-lifes are reflected with style and harmony on his pictures; light-games and shadows extol their particularity. Married in 1965, Cesare passed onto his 3 sons the natural gift of drawing: the first has specialized in technical drawing, the second in artistic drawing and the third, more eclectic, is working in the communication and creativity environment.
